Mankeys are just too awesome. I don’t care what anybody says.
Why am I still up?
Oh, that’s right, League of Legends. Forever Riot’s bitch.
Holy crap this is awesome.
Some pretty devoted people in this game. Tracking people down to hack. I wonder if I’m in trouble now.
The greatest part? Those aren’t even real IPs. I have officially had my laugh for the day.

So I’ve been thinking…
I’ve been thinking a lot over the past few days about the people I know, or knew, through the internet. I’ve known so many people over the past… god, I don’t even know how long I’ve been gaming online. The point is that I have met a lot of awesome people online (along with some people that just make me feel like humanity is shit, but that’s a whole different matter). As I was thinking about these people, I came to a realization: one day, I might not even remember some of them. My memory is pretty shit, so it makes me kind of worried that I might forget people who, whether or not I’d like to admit it, have had an impact on me in some way or another. So that leads to why I’m posting this. This post will be a sort of archive for me of the people that I’ve met online who I feel should not be forgotten. This probably won’t mean anything to other people, but it means everything to me. I’ll try to keep it in chronological order as well, but no dates will be given.
Obivion - I didn’t know this guy for very long. He was the first person who I ever really talked to in my first MMO, Endless Online. He is also probably the nicest guy I’ve met in any MMO. He helped to teach me the ropes for a few days and he even gave me a few items (which I learned later were incredibly expensive). After those few days, he just disappeared and I never saw him again.
Flarelight - This guy. Man. Once again, he’s from Endless Online and he was one awesome guy. We both started around the same time, and we met each other a few days after Obivion disappeared. We’d go exploring high level areas together and just screw around. This went on for several months before he told me he was leaving for FLYFF, at which point I never saw him again. I miss him, though.
BoboFiendish and FiendishFem - The guild leaders of the first guild I joined on Maple Story. They always made sure that all of the guild members were being treated fairly, and they were probably the greatest guild leaders ever. I remember talking to BoboFiendish when I logged on Maple Story a few months ago. I hope he’s still doing fine, and hopefully things have worked out for him and Fem.
NewAthens - I didn’t have any friends for the longest time on Maple Story, probably because I’d just changed worlds and didn’t feel like meeting anybody.. NewAthens and I met on the boat to Orbis, and we decided to make a guild. Making a guild was a pretty big achievement for us. Eventually, we ended up leaving Maple Story together.
Azulie - She was a pretty quiet girl, and she was one of the first members of the guild that NewAthens and I formed (which we named Serenity). She never talked about her life outside of the game, and nobody knew much about her. She was a pretty awesome person, though. She left Maple Story around the time Athens and I did.
FritoBandito (aka Ben) - Another cool guy (obviously). He was one of the first members of Serenity, and he was probably the guy I hung out with most from the guild. I still talk to him from time to time, but it’s pretty rare.
Flav (aka Dustin) - When I made the transition from GMS to private servers, I had a hard time finding a server. My first server was Shroom MS. The day I joined was the day I met Flav, and he was a total bro. Several weeks later, I managed to become a GM, and I maintained a GM position through Shroom to Pillow to Nido, eventually leaving the position. We were always joking around and he’s a great guy. We don’t talk much anymore, sadly.
Jenner - He was one of the first people I met on Shroom MS. Because of time zones, I didn’t talk to him very often, but thanks to MSN, we just started talking to each other again a few weeks ago. He’s just as cool as I remember him.
Nachos (aka Ryan) - I met him on PillowMS a few weeks after it opened, I believe. We didn’t talk much out of the game while PillowMS was up, but a few weeks after it was shut down (and a few months before it reopened as Nido), Ryan and I started talking more outside the game. Him and I eventually started playing a ton of games together: Xbox, PC, you name it. We tried a ton of MMOs, played a ton of online games.. It’s great fun, and it still is. He still remains to be one of my best friends, even though he’s kind of an ass sometimes. But that’s okay, that’s just the way he is.
Platypus (aka Witt) - One of Ryan’s real friends that I met through him. He’s a pretty awesome guy, and even though I’m a dick to him sometimes (I totally don’t mean it), he’s never really a dick to me. He’s totally a bro though. Halo Reach with him and Ryan was always a shit ton of fun (Om Nom Gator Guns, anyone?).
Jeffro - Another one of Ryan’s real friends that I met through him. We don’t talk very often (he’s usually busy with schoolwork or something), but he’s a pretty cool guy.
Arels (aka Sam) - I remember mee- oh, look. He just logged in on MSN. Anyways, I remember meeting Sam through KMS, and I helped him set up an account. Man, I’m really glad I met him. He’s one of my best friends and I feel like I can tell him pretty much anything. We’re both there whenever shit hits the fan. He’s just an overall awesome guy, and a total bro.
Spot (aka Logan) - Spottttttt. Such an awesome nickname. I met him through the League of Legends forums, and we started playing games together. It feels like such a long time ago, but it hasn’t even been a year. He’s an awesome dude, and he’s pretty damn funny, too. Best dog anybody could ask for. Still waiting for my sister to go shopping for a doggy sweater with him, though.
Blood - I didn’t really talk to Blood much until we started playing LoL together (thanks to Ryan). He’s an awesome guy, but his older brother is definitely older. Definitely. Late night gaming with him is always super awesome, even though he’s a million times better than I am.
Jinwa - One of Blood’s friends. Playing LoL with him is awesome. I haven’t known Jinwa for very long, but that’s okay. He’s one of those guys that you quickly like, and he’s just fun to dick around with. Too bad butts can’t talk.
Total - Total is one of Jinwa’s friends. Being the only other Canadian in our current group, it instantly makes him awesome. I haven’t seen much of him recently, but a few weeks ago, we used to play a ton of LoL games with each other. He’s a cool guy.
Ely - If you’ve played LoL with me, you’ve heard me say countless times how much I hate randoms. Ely was a random, but she was an awesome random. With her and Zach, we made an awesome ranked team and even beat some members of Dignitas. She better hurry up and get back home so we can play more ranked, though.
Zach - BETS. SUPPORT. EVAR. Zach is the designated support for our ranked team in LoL, and he’s pro at it. He’s an awesome guy (everyone is awesome, it seems). I only met him and Ely a few weeks ago, but that doesn’t matter. They’re both badass.
I really hope I didn’t forget anyone. I’ll probably end up updating this post (can you even do that? I don’t know…) as I remember more people, or if more people join our group. Hopefully I never forget these people.
Coping techniques for LoL.
I know this is different from what I usually post, but the LoL community can either be a great thing, or the worst thing ever and I feel there’s always room for improvement. But there isn’t necessarily a “guide” on how to act. Think of this as a mini-guide as to how to deal with people who push your rage buttons in LoL. Because they will never stop coming.
